Mike spent 8 years as a British Columbia Lodge Manager/guide through the 90’s. Since then he’s guided and fished extensively at various international destinations over the past years, including Chile, Argentina, Alaska, Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula, The Pacific Northwest, and all over British Columbia’s Skeena River region. Mike has spent the past 7 years as a camp manager/guide, and director of The Fly Shop/Wild Salmon River Expedition’s Trout and Steelhead fly fishing programs in Kamchatka. He guided American clients on over 25 different rivers and conducted numerous guided exploratory expeditions on rivers on uncharted rivers.  Mike is also an FFF certified fly casting instructor, fly tier and photographer.
